3:40 p.m. Fire crews brought under control a grass fire near Maldon. Crews spent some time containing the fire on the Bendigo-Maldon road. The Country Fire Authority and Forest Fire Management will remain on site for an additional two hours without interruption. Earlier, A FIRE burns uncontrollably near Maldon.
