[Brief] A video has surfaced online showing a fire that broke out on Tuesday June 28 while a ship was docked in Dubai loading cars. Reports indicate that the 800 ton ship, the Faiz Gosé Mohyuddin, was docked in Dubai loading cars for shipment to Yemen. It was due to arrive at the port of Nashtun, Yemen, at the end of this week.

The ship was due to leave the United Arab Emirates on June 29. Unconfirmed reports said he was carrying up to 195 cars, including Mercedes and Audis as well as possibly Ferraris that had been sold to a Yemeni dealer.

Fourteen crew working aboard the ship were able to escape the fire but failed in their efforts to extinguish it before it spread to engulf the ship. Other ships in the harbor as well as firefighters tried to help put out the blaze which appears to have been burning for hours.

The ship and its cargo would be a total loss. Media say the vessel was owned by an Indian company and concerns have been raised as it was the second Bhaya family vessel to be destroyed by fire in a matter of days.
