Rochester – John Marciano, 77, of Rochester, NH, husband of Ida Marciano, died Friday, May 6, 2022 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. The son of the late Savino and Dorothy (Campbell) Marciano, he was born June 29, 1944. He was raised in Topsfield, MA, attended local schools, and graduated from Masconomet Regional High School in 1962. He also received technical training and was employed as a draftsman for several years. Thereafter, he proudly served in the United States Navy for seven years, receiving an honorable discharge. He was employed for 20 years at New Meadows Golf Club in Topsfield. He was a member of the Robert Durgin American Legion Post in New Market, NH. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sister Carmen Winslow and her husband Peter Calandra; his sister-in-law Margaret Marciano; his children Barbara Miller, Diane Hadley, Leslie Forte and John J. Marciano; several grandchildren; his nephews Mark and Bryan Marciano and Dr. Jason Winslow; his aunt Grace Marciano; and many cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Barbara Marciano; and his brother David Marciano. His family would like to thank the staff at Frisbie Memorial Hospital for their dedicated care for him and his family which helped ease the burden of his passing.

A memorial service with full military honors was held Thursday, May 12 at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
